Hand, foot and mouth disease

The picture below shows what happens when you let your toddler give you sloppy kisses while hand, foot and mouth disease (HFM) is going round nursery.  Although my son escaped with a few spots, I developed the full-blown rash of painful spots and blisters – the skin on my feet is still peeling almost two months later.  As I hope I’ll never catch HFM again, I thought I’d record it for posterity – this was drawn at our weekly toddler group (after I’d stopped being infectious).
